Breast Cancer Month- October 2019
The Mobile Dispensary Medical and paramedical staff have organized awareness sessions on Breast cancer and educated women on Breast Self Examination at locations and vocational training centres in the month of October 2019. Total sessions
organized 17 attended by 377 participants. However throughout the year whenever we got the participants at the locations and at vocational training centres we aware them on the subject.
The women and adolescent girls were educated on as following:
- Any change in the size or the shape of the breast.
- Pain in any area of the breast with lump if any
- Nipple discharge other than breast milk (including blood).
- A new lump in the breast or underarm.
